Besides the fourth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour at the Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard, also the Nations Cup in St. Gallen, Switzerland, was on the program last weekend. The CSIO5* GP took place there on Friday evening and the British rider Scott Brash and his 12-year-old stallion Hello Vincent were again at the appointment.
Brash and Hello Vincent, a son of Consul de la Vie and Fergar Mail who was born at Raphael Dulin and Annick Legouil's stable as Coquin de Coquerie Z, were one of the thirteen combinations that managed to qualify for the second and decisive round. They again kept it clear and their finish time of 45.41 seconds earned them a 2nd place.
But Brash and Hello Vincent were not the only ones who managed to ensure Zangersheide success in this Grand Prix. The 4th place went to the Dutch rider Kevin Jochems with the also 12-year-old Turbo Z, a son of Thunder van de Zuuthoeve and Renville, who was bred by W. van Stam's. Jochems and Turbo Z also managed to keep clear in the second round in a time of 46.69 seconds.
In 6th place we got the Swiss rider Elian Baumann with the 14-year-old gelding Campari Z (Contact van de Heffinck x Platini M – B: Kim Vanderwaeren) while the 10th place was for the Italian rider Piergiorgio Bucci with the 10-year-old mare Naiade d'Elsendam Z (Nabab de Rêve x Quattro B – B: François Verhulst).
