Irish victory in the 6-year-old horses
Last year Ireland managed to claim the entire podium in the finals for 5-year-old horses, and today they also claimed victory in the second qualification for 6-year-old horses! The Irish Harry Allen brought Italy HDH (Cream on Top - Breeder: Hans Dings) to the finish in 64.71 seconds in this table A against the clock. The second place happened to be shared between the Dutch Harrie Smolders and the Polish Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski. Both riders stopped the clock in exactly 68.05 seconds with respectively Nixon van 't Meulenhof (Denzel van 't Meulenhof - Breeder: Mariette Van Lombergen) and Inturido (Zambesi - Breeder: A.J. Mulderije). The Azerbaijan Patrick Mc Entee occupied the fourth place in 68.21 seconds with Action One Mury Marais Z (Aktio Pure Z - Breeder: Catherine De Buyl Insurance). She stayed ahead of Daniele Augusto Da Rios and Lukas RS (Lohengrin di Villa Emilia - Breeder: S.R.L RS Team-Breeding), who finished in fifth place in 68.88 seconds.
In total 40 combinations qualified for the Finals on Sunday.
