Double victory for Beauville Z in Azelhof!

Last weekend many top riders went to Azelhof in Lier where a three-star competition was scheduled. With a total of 6 victories in 1.40m classes or higher, it was again a real success for the Zangersheide horses!

The leading role was undoubtedly reserved for the 10-year-old Beauville Z (Bustique x Jumpy des Fontaines) under the saddle of Maikel van der Vleuten. After winning a 1.40m class on Saturday, they did it again yesterday in the CSI3 * GP! Van der Vleuten appeared last in the ring with the breeding product of Pascal Habets and managed to win the class with a finish time of 35.24 seconds! And with that he immediately referred another Zangersheide horse to the 2nd place ... It was Titouan Schumacher who was in the lead until then with his Atome Z (Amadeus Z x Toulon) after realising a chrono time of 35.28 seconds.

On Thursday during the opening day, both Andres Vereecke with Diadarco van Evendael Z (Diamant de Semilly x Darco) and Lily Attwood with Cor-Leon vd Vlierbeek Z (Calvaro Z x Omar) managed to win a 1.45m class. Both combinations have already shown their good form in recent weeks with placings in Opglabbeek and Royan respectively.

Also Simon Delestre had an excellent start to his competition on Thursday. With Goodwill Z (Aristo Z x Jalisco B), who was born at Stoeterij Duyselshof as A-Goodwill Z, he won a 1.40m class and he finished 2nd in the 1.45m class with Qopilot Batilly Z (Qlassic Bois Margot x Cabdula du Tillard ) just behind Lilly Attwood. A day later, Qopilot Batilly Z also placed 3rd in a 1.40m class

The last victory of the weekend came from Pieter Clemens with Agadance Van 't Gelutt Z (Aganix du Seigneur Z x Candence Van' t Gelutt Z). On Friday they were the best in a 1.40m class.
